The Gillioz Theatre invites you to experience the architectural beauty of a historical Springfield landmark.

In its past, the theatre welcomed premieres for movies starring Humphrey Bogart and Ronald Reagan and played host to a variety of live performances. Now it has been returned to its former glory as part of a 17-year success story.

Let the Jim D. Morris Auditorium be host to your spectacular event. With seating for 1,130 people our auditorium can be used for any number of events. Whether your vision is a movie, conference, concert, or theatrical production the Gillioz Theatre’s auditorium is the perfect fit.

Do you envision conversation, mingling, and an overall nostalgic atmosphere? If so, let us recommend our ornate lobbies. With our 3 lobbies you will have plenty of space for your conference, meeting, or party. Guests will spend their time appreciating your thoughtfulness in hosting such a marvelous event.

Take your vows from the stage among the beautiful architecture and rich history. You don't even need to decorate! Your guests will anticipate your big day with enthusiasm. No more going to that same wedding they've been to three other times that year. If you'd like to get married in the Gillioz, but feel that it's just too large to host your small wedding, don't fret. You can get married on the lobby balcony. Your wedding party can stand around the legendary "Ladies Watching Rotunda" while your guests watch from below.
